What this service is
Lawsuit.live is a legal information and case-matching service. We are not a law firm, we do not provide legal advice, and no attorney-client relationship is created by using this site or by submitting the screening form. An attorney-client relationship exists only once you sign a written retainer with an attorney who agrees to represent you.
What we do with your submission
What you tell us is shared with one or more participating attorneys or their intake teams so they can assess whether they are able to represent you. They decide independently whether to take your case.
No guarantee of outcome
Nothing here predicts or guarantees any outcome, settlement amount, or filing deadline that applies to you. Case counts, payout figures and deadlines shown on this site are general information drawn from public dockets, not advice about your claim.
Eligibility and acceptable use
You must be 18 or older and in the United States. Do not submit another person’s information without their authorisation, submit information you know to be false, or automate submissions.
SMS programme (case updates)
If you give us your mobile number and tick the consent box on the screening form, you are enrolling in the TortOS case-update text programme, operated by DGY LLC for Lawsuit.live and its participating attorneys. The messages are transactional: updates on the progress of your claim and a secure link to your own case portal, where you can confirm your identity and send us your records. They are not marketing messages.
Message frequency varies and depends on the progress of your claim. Message and data rates may apply. Agreeing to receive texts is never a condition of using this site or of being referred to an attorney. We do not sell or share your mobile number, or your consent to be texted, with any third party for their own marketing.
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will get one confirmation and nothing after it. Reply START to begin receiving them again. Reply HELP for help, or email legal@lawsuit.live. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised version. Questions go to legal@lawsuit.live.
